As a Layman, what do you understand by the term "Food Security"? Empty As a Layman, what do you understand by the term "Food Security"?

Hi,
If asked in terms of a layman, I would say that Food Security is the basic right or the basic minimum requirement of a person, to help sustain a healthy life; something without which, a person might be termed as malnourished.
Or, as the Terms suggest, it is the security for a person, that he/she would get at least the minimum amount of food, required for growth of the body (both physically and mentally).
